Who we are – Group for the Advancement of Psychodynamics and Psychotherapy in Social Work (GAPS) is a registered charity (Registered UK Charity no. 290726). We promote relationship-based approaches, and psychodynamic and systemic thinking in social work. GAPS is the owner of The Journal of Social Work Practice.
What we will do with your information – If you subscribe to our mailing list, the details you provide will be stored electronically using an online mailing list service 1. We will use this information to inform you about GAPS’ activities and to invite you to events. You may unsubscribe from this list at any time.
What we will do with your information – If you are a paid member of GAPS, we will retain the contact details you provided as well as records relating to your membership renewals2. We also use your name and email-address as login credentials on our website3 in order that you can access The Journal for Social Work Practice online. We will use the information you have provided if we need to contact you regarding your membership of GAPS. If you let us know that you no longer wish to be a member of GAPS we will delete your information.
Who your information will be shared with – We will not share your details with any other party or organisation without prior agreement. However, if you are a paid member of GAPS your name and postal address is given to our publishers (Taylor & Francis) so that you can receive The Journal of Social Work Practice in print. Our publishers will not share your details with any other party or organisation.
